Overview
I created small-business websites in Wix for service-based clients who needed a clearer public web presence. The projects gave me practice translating real-world service work into approachable page structure, service messaging, imagery, and calls to action.
For Rich and Sons Home Services, I built a site for a college classmate from Argentina who was working as a general contractor focused on home modifications and building projects. I also worked alongside him for a few weeks, which helped me understand the trade and present the business in a way that felt grounded in the work.
For Mobile Tire Service, I designed a dedicated website for a client who had been relying primarily on word of mouth and a Google Business listing. The goal was to establish a more polished web presence and create a base that could later support quoting, customer management, and a more complete Wix-based workflow.
Objectives
- Create professional public websites for small service businesses.
- Organize each site's messaging around practical service offerings and client trust.
- Use a no-code web platform to deliver maintainable sites quickly.
- Frame Mobile Tire Service for future Wix customer-management and quoting improvements.
- Translate real-world work context into a more polished digital presence.

What I Learned
These projects gave me client-facing practice outside of coursework: asking what a business needed to communicate, translating hands-on service work into web experiences, and balancing polish with a platform the owner could continue using after delivery.
This work demonstrates practical web design, visual communication, no-code platform delivery, and the ability to build public-facing sites for real people and business use cases.
